Eurotrip

I have reached my first destination of this spring's Eurotrip, Edinburgh. So far it’s good to be back here, again. The first day was quite laid back, just hanging around in the ISC and meeting some friends, playing Trivial Pursuit, with unanswerable questions. Later on we had some beers at the new Pubnight in the Greenmantle, quite a nice place, before I headed to a Flat Party with the funny theme 'Safari/Board games. Quite a good day first day... but today it's raining and sunny... so I'm undecided about what to do.

However I'm going to stay here until Wednesday and then flying to Rome to spend (and work) some time in Italy. Thereafter I'm off to Spain. Here is a map with the full route:

Counting days

My last days in Germany and what am I doing?
Right, I'm going to the cinema. Friday night’s movie was 127 Hours. Good adaptation of a real story. It was nicely filmed what emotions were experienced by the main character, while he was trapped in the canyon. But the scene when he cut off his arm was quite bloody, not a good view for everybody.
Overall a quite interesting movie but it's not very likely that this will become the winning movie of this
years Academy Awards.
The movie I saw last night, The King's Speech, is much more likely to win. A brilliant movie, with a very interesting story. Furthermore the main characters are very good personated. I would recommend this movie, even for those who are not interested in monarchy.

Today’s plan is going to get my backpack ready, just not so sure how. My limit is 20kg, including equipment and clothing for 7 weeks and 2 field trips...
Let's see how that is going to work out.

Soccer choreography

I came across some very good and funny goal celebrations by a soccer club from Iceland, Starjan FC. First of all, there is the angler catching a fish. Then there is the human bicycle and the depiction of giving birth. But the most hilarious one might the one of a toilet. Sorry, for the sound, but the vids are in German.

As a bonus here is another one from England, the Boxer.

So much about this, now I will go back to plan the upcoming weeks. Some exciting journeys across Europe are about to come up. More about this will follow soon!
